It's like Butter baby............Butter London "Lady Muck"

Hello Ladies!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I had a relaxing one.  I have started something new that is actually working for me,  cleaning my house during the week so I can rest on Saturday.  Usually I try and clean everything on Saturday which turns into me be very tired on Sunday.  Anywho,  I've seen Butter London polish for some time,  and I couldn't get into spending 14 bucks on a polish. (#teambudget)  But something came over me when I saw this color in Ulta and darn it...............I'm addicted.  My top high line polishes are Illamasqua and RBL (Rescue Beauty Lounge) but,  Butter London has hopped on the list as well,  and from what I have witnessed, the formula on this polish is even better than some RBL polishes,  in my opinion.  Lady Muck is a grey polish with light blue undertones, and shimmer.  What I love about it is the shimmer adds to the high shine of the polish.  And the color stands out like nobodies business!  I wore this to a BBQ,  and one girl asked me to please refrain from using my hands because my polish is too pretty!  The application was so easy,  it applied like butter. (lol)  Formula was so smooth and dried in no time.  So far I LOVE this polish,  none like it in my stash.  I also wanted to note that I have worn it since Friday night,  not one chip yet,  and I am on day three of polish wear. That makes the polish worth every penny.  2 lovely coats!

I believe in Frenzy Amour mani

On my search to cure my boredom, I also decided to try one of my traditional crazy manis!  (different polish on different fingers)  I used "I believe in Amour"  by Color Club and Cosmetics Arts "Frenzy".  Both colors were purchased from Ross,  and I just realized today after extra research,  that they are both manufactured by the same Company.  I LOVE Cosmetics Arts polish,  I just cant find it anywhere.  I believe in Amour was a pale creme pink.  The formula was thick and streaky, but once I applied a top coat, all was pretty again.  Frenzy has a perfect formula.  All 3 coats.  Off to the swatches.........Enjoy!

The shine on both of these colors speak for themselves!

OPI "Blue my mind with some Lilac Crackle"....................(pic heavy)

You know what's weird?  I am not a BLUE polish fan. Green, Pinks..............YES,  but not big on the color blue.  I purchased this polish by OPI years ago,  and I may have worn it twice.  It was a very bold color for my previous job environment,  but hey now I'm laid off so I can wear what I want right? Anywho,  the color called to me and asked to be matched with a crackle polish. So I thought Latticed Lilac would be a good match for this bold jelly blue,  and I was right!  These two look great together!

Ulta Haul......................Marley and Jules by Zoya

Hello Ladies! I received a five dollar coupon from InStyle magazine towards any purchase of ten dollars or more from Ulta..........You know I could not pass on this deal.  I have few Zoya polishes,  so I wanted to stack up on more colors from this line,  the few that I have tried in the past have been great colors.  And Zoya has some AMAZING colors!  These colors are from their Intimate Collection.  I chose Marley and Jules.  Once I got home and swatched my color sheet,  Marley was the color of choice for this weekend.  I  view it as a muted lavender grey creme.  (sounds weird huh?)  BUT,  what really excited me was the mild frostiness to the polish that allowed the color to have HIGH shine from any angle.  Pure genius on Zoya's part,  because as you know colors like this can get that dull look after a couple of days.  The application is VERY thick and the wear time was AWFUL!  That was my only con for this color,  The next day I had chips and polish lifting,  I applied another coat and still had the same issue the following day..........great color but thumbs down on the formula. Sorry! On to the pics..................

(L-R Marley and Jules)

You can see the frostiness

What a weekend with Neon Melon!!!

Hello Ladies! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!  I am enjoying mines!  I happen to walk pass these lovely colors a while back in Walgreens.  To be honest I was never a neon fan.  I tried Passion fruit by Orly last year and it just never appealed to me.  So I normally passed them by and went to my usual creme polishes.  But something sucked me into buying these neon polishes by Sinful Colors and I am soooooo HAPPY I did!  I don't know about you ladies, but I have a color sheet.  My color sheet is a glossy card board that I apply polish on when I purchase it to see how the color will look once air dried.  It helps me put designs and etc. together in my head.  When I applied these polishes to my color sheet,  I was very disappointed!  Because after four coats,  they were very sheer.  Needless to say,  I decided to try Neon Melon with a white polish underneath and WOW!  I got so much attention with this color!  People literally dropped their BBQ plates and walked over to see the color closeup!  LOL!  Formula was a typical neon formula and application was a breeze.  The wear time was amazing, 5 days with no chips! On to swatches.......................1 coat of white polish, 2 coats of Neon Melon!
