Mini Essie Haul from T.J.Maxx

Before this blog I never purchased mini nail polishes. Some weird image would pop in my head that the polish in the bottle was never enough for a full manicure and pedicure. (lol) But at the rate I'm going, I will purchase any cool color.  So I am browsing thru a T.J.Maxx store and I came across Essie "Fearless", "Rubies Slippers", "Wrap N Rubies", and "Steel-Ling The Scene."  Then I went to another one and found "Show stopper, "Rose Bowl" and "Click it or Ticket".  I haven't purchased anything Essie in a while because you rarely find this polish on sale, but I LOVE THEM ALL! On to the swatches..all 3 COATS!

FEARLESS
I couldn't get a good photo of this color, more of a deep true orange, but very bright! LOVE it!

Still not perfect but more true to color.

RUBIES SLIPPERS
YES, I know everyone under the sun has done this color. But this is an awesome color, so I had to do it! Nothing bad to say, nice jelly formula with sparkles.

WRAPS N RUBIES

Perfect shot, nice dark red opaque color with gold undertone.

STEEL-LING THE SCENE
I really liked this color. Favorite of the bunch. Silver gold-ish opaque.......really pretty.

SHOW STOPPER
This was a dark pink opaque with gold undertone AND sparkles! Second favorite of the bunch.

ROSE BOWL
This is not a great shot at all, this is a dark bright pink.

CLICK IT OR TICKET
Light orange opaque.

ENJOY AND THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

Old Polish......Orly "Basket Case"

This polish is very old, one the first in my stash. I would always wear it while vacation during the summer.  I had an accident a long time ago and some nail polish leaked on top of others and............let's just say it wasn't a pretty site.  I was able to save this one and decided to give it a try even though I am not vacationing.:-( (YET) On to swatches...........

"Basket Case" by Orly, 3 COATS

Essie Resort Collection "Lapis of Luxury and Turquoise & Caicos"

I Haven't purchase an Essie nail polish in a very long time, so when I saw these gorgeous colors I wanted to try them out. Honestly, I only liked these two colors out of the whole collection. Here are the swatches.........................

Lapis of Luxury, very nice light blue creme. Reminds me of a powder blue color more than baby blue. 3 COATS

And the infamous Turquoise and Caicos, a creme green. Some say aqua, I say light teal. 3 COATS

OK, honestly these colors are nice........But I wasn't crazy about them. Hot and Spicey rocked my world, but these were just .......pretty! Your thoughts?

ENJOY! And please follow for future blog posts!

Suzi Says Feng Shui and Hot and Spicy by OPI Hong Kong collection

I have been in LOVE with this OPI collection since the buzz went out about the uber fabness of the colors. Since I've held on to some birthday cash, I decided to get more colors to feed my POLISH need. LOL. I have "Dim Sum Plum" which I did swatches for here and "Jade is the new black" here. Hope you all are enjoying your week so far...........Now on to the swatches.........
New babies!
First up......... Suzi Says Feng Shui. I really like the name of the polish, very original. The first picture with the flash is not a very accurate color of this polish, that is why I added extra photos without the flash. The color is a dusty blue, very different and unique. In my opinion it can go for any season, this is a  great add to my polish stash. 3 COATS.

SO GORGEOUS!

Next up, Hot and Spicy! THIS IS MY FAVORITE POLISH (so far). I wanted this polish from the day I set my eyes on her..................this is a light orange creme, also 3 COATS.

I cannot express the love I have for this polish, it looks so nice on my skin tone, and I cannot wait to get some bronze to my skin from the sun to see it really pop! Orange u glad to see it? (sorry I had to)

ENJOY!

Celebrity nails! Over the years I have noticed some celebrity with wacky designs and very NICE nails. One of my favorites is Katy Perry. I like her music, and her nails are always flyyyyyyyyy! She dances to her own drum, and I can dig that:-)

These are fabulous! I may do these for the summer, I don't know if I can afford Swarovski crystals for 10 fingers.........so I may just do 2 fingers on each hand for my future vacay!

She is so gorgeous, Ladies aren't these nails fabulous? This may be a Minx design.

Another Minx design, very pretty. I am interested in trying a Minx design, time will tell!
ENJOY!
This was an old swatch, that I forgot. I really likeD this color. I applied to my nubbies this morning and remembered my long nails:-(...AHHHH Moving on...........This is Orly's "Secret Admirer" very nice sheer orangey peach color, more on the peach end. Nice summer color, 4 COATS

At four coats, you can see the thru the polish but not as much.

Nubbies! China Glaze "shower together" and broken nail story

Hello! Ahhhhhh, I took a break because my mom came to visit. Since I don't see her as much, I had to give her all my attention. Now that I am missing her, I decided to use my time wisely. I did miss you guys! Soooooo much has happened. I turned 32 on April 7th, and had a lovely birthday. :-) To make a long story short, I found these AMAZING pair of shoes at TJMaxx. They had a zipper in the back and .........I broke my thumb, blood and the whole nine.......so introducing.........The Nubbies!

The Nubbies!
